Things can only get better from here (At least I hope they do). My g*d was hospitalized (mental) for a month & I lost all nearsightedness in my right eye & was down to -6 in the left one so had laser (PRK) surgery to correct it.Hope you are doing better! I hate to see one of our own having problems! Prayers and good karma headed your way

Just wanted to share this, I'm the guy that kills everything plant related so i tried really hard when the wife bough home some massive pots, I decided to plant a couple of full standard roses in them, used the proper compost and slow releasing feed, I'm not sure who is more shocked at the results this year, me or my wifey haha

With roses, it's all about the quality of the soil, and the drainage. They need a good bit of water, but they don't like "wet feet".

Very true Andria, I have lava rock in the bottom and used John Innes No3 compost with a 6 month slow release feeder and a thin layer of mulch on the top, they are on raised decking which I'm sure helps and it gets a lot of sun. It's surprising what you can achieve when you follow simple instructions. Since that picture they have really started to flower now, we are still in shock.
btw, you seem like a really nice, kind and helpful person Andria, glad I had the chance to meet you on here.

Thanks KD, Im the one that usually does it first and reads the instructions when it doesn't go right, then Im like, oh that's why It didn't work haha, the wife is the one that will study the instructions for ages, reading through every page, she's definitely the smart and patient one. The roses were very expensive so for once I did my research first. *Hugs*

Have you ladies (and our coupla resident gents) seen what Phiniac is doing lately? They've got sandblasted mods with a choice of finishes, and they have replacement glass tanks that are also sandblasted with or without really gorgeous colors!
Here are a couple I'm loving. (I think I may have posted this pic before, so forgive the repeat.)
And the new tanks!!
