It retails for $55.99 and is worth every penny…

I must say that I thought this would be the first one I would have gone for...I was looking forward to it when I won both this and and Charon TC 218…..well I was wrong...Not to say I don’t love it...but it took a backseat to the Charon for a week or 3….(mostly because of the looks)..LOL….

This is another well made mod by Smoant.. I love the chip as is has really quick response time.....It's comfortable design is easy to hold…

It has the same menu as the Charon so by the time I started using it I was familiar with it (although it’s still can get confusing)....

It’s comfortable to hold and lighter than the Charon…. It also doesn’t seem to get hot...

The magnetic cover is firm and no rattling at all...the buttons are not loose..the 510 connector is sturdy........Overall it’s very well made….

This is my first triangle mod and I like it even more than I thought I would….

Pros…

The shape & size..

The fast firing (ramp up)...

The bright screen...

All the safety features…


Cons..

Just that the menu is a little confusing….

And maybe something different on the sides so it won’t slip through hands….

I highly recommend this for everyone...(try it you'll love it)...

I will keep that in mind....although for the time being it's still in the rotation...it's a little bit lighter than the Charon so I have been taking it with me...

I traded mine for a squonk, so I'm not really regretting it. Just missing it. They are solid dependable devices, for sure.

That's not a bad trade....I like squonking too...but I love the quick fire on the Battlestar....I have paired it with the Aries tank...and all I can say is WOW....the only down side is that's it's a juice sucker..

Hi.
New to the site, so please excuse me if i have the wrong place.
I have a question about the Smoant battle star that i just purchased.
If i lock the wattage and turn the device off, i turn the device back on and the wattage is unlocked.
It has baffled me. I am hoping I haven't got a faulty one and there is an explanation for this issue.
Any help from would be great.

If i lock the wattage and turn the device off, i turn the device back on and the wattage is unlocked.

Welcome to ECF @SavStar ......let me do a quick reminder of how to lock the watts and I will get back with you.......

OK so I checked mine and it seems to stay licked after I turn it off & on again.....I can;t adjust the power up or down...the screen comes on & says to hold up & down...but you have to hold the fire button too.....so all 3 buttons at the same time to lock & unlock.........if you hold just the up & down at the same time that just changed the direction of the screen........

I have held all 3 button, as you state but when i turn the device off and on again, the lock isn't active any more. I believe i have a faulty one then. Can you just confirm to turn off/on/ lock fire button, you just do 5 clicks?

I have 4 Battlestars and all of them will lose the lock when I power down or replace the batteries so you have to reset the lock each time. Small price to pay for an otherwise great mod.

To lock you hold all 3 buttons.................to turn on/off you push the fire button only 5 times fast.......

So your device isn't defective........you lock it each time you power it on..............

Oh ok i see. Bit of a rubbish feature but it is a sweet mod. I would of thought it would remember the wattage is locked, as a standard feature.
