Smok Q2 0.4 coil question

Hi,

Everyone i am very new to vaping and recently i just purchase smok osub 80w tc kit which comes with Q2 0.4 coil so i have some confusions and questions:

What is this coil type is is this SS or? I try to use this under wattage mode and the recommend wattage they mention on this is between 40-80 but even when i try to run this on 40 the juice start to kind like boiling and hot so i am not able to vape at this instead i vape this at around 33 watts, So i want to know if this is normal? I use 50/50 juice.

Other question is if i can use this coil in Temp mode?

And last question is i want a cool vape with many clouds and less spitback and other issues so other then the tank comes with this what other high quality tank i can buy which will work best with this mode.

I was just watching a YouTube video about that kit. Seems like a good choice. That might be too thin of a juice. I use 70/30 or higher. All my tanks run .25 to .5 & 40-70 watts. Typically tanks gurgle when the power is too low. The hot part does contradict that though. Where do you have the air flow set? It can feel hotter with it closed. I would try 50 with the air wide open.

Yes i done so much research before buying so its a good kit for me, I let the air flow wide open at all the time because when i close air flow a little bit its start to gurgle and spitting hot juice even at around 36 watts and i try this with 50 watts power but its seems at this power even when i was not inhaling its forced vape into my mouth

Welcome and glad you joined.
Might want to do non sub-ohm first (Over 1 ohms, pretty much uses the same equipment, the coil/wick is built different). You will get great flavor but the cloud production is not as intense as you can produce with sub ohm'g.
Could look into the pros and cons of sub ohm'g vs non sub ohm'g before you decide which way you want to go. Some folks jump right into sub ohm'g without looking at the hidden ramifications.Successful sub ohm'rs tend to know the ins and outs of vaping. That's why sub ohm'g is tagged as advanced vaping.

Thanks for detailed reply so then in this case i want to know what will be the best non sub-ohm tank i can use with this mode which have a good air flow and good vapor?
I also use joytech aio but the air flow and flavours are not good in this compare to osub

Ok guys here is a thing. Today i try to vape this at temp mode vape 2-3 times and after that move back to watts mode and also i hold the power button like for 2 sec without inhaling and now even at 55w i can vape this without any gurgle and hot vape so exactly what happen now?

You may have a bad coil. It happens. I have same kit with .4 Q2 coil.Vape at 35-40 watts, great vape. You can use temp mode 316 stainless at 420 f. I have it on that now. Great clods and awesome flavor. Love this setup.
