For most folks and setups, I'd say 50 watts is plenty. However, if you have a high performance sub ohm tank like the Freemax Starre/Vapeston Maganus (identical tanks), you'll see a noticeable difference between the 50 and 80 watt settings.
The Kanger occ coils kind of begin to poop out with wicking at around 35-40 or so watts.
With beasty wattage, you need a beasty setup. And vice versa. Otherwise, what's the point of either.
My results may vary I know nothing is the same, thank you for your input.I just wanted to share my experiences with the product line. As with everything on the interwebz, YMMV.
Thanks, i will condider that, Ic an still rma the Smok M80 Plus. So if it doesn't suit me I'll go get the iStick50watt.I have M50, M65 and istick 50, really prefer the istick for battery life and seems to hit harder. Fire button on M50 acts up sometimes, but all of them are good.
and seems to hit harder
I love internal batteries ..no need to buy anything else..plug and go!
PS the eleaf is ideal with your choice of tanks
Kayfun V4, Eleaf Lemo
I almost bought that xbox instead of the istick 50. It has a long delay i heard right before you take a vape. i just went with 50 watt istick also the tem control doesnt work on it,
"Are 80 watts necessary?"
That's a question that can only be answered by the individual vaper. I've pushed my builds and my devices to their limits, just because, but I am perfectly happy lately with two builds I'm running, one at 16 watts, and the other around 20. So for me, 80 watts isn't "necessary", but I will probably get a higher powered device just because.
Are you mistaking the temperature protection with temperature control on the istick? It does have a safety feature that will turn it off if the board reaches a certain temperature (70C? That seems to ring a bell) but there's no temperature control, unfortunately.
I almost bought that xbox
But the Smok M80 Plus has a long delay ,i heard right before you take a vape
