Marc how are you liking that Puma you scored? That is pure sweetness at a heck of a price tag!

I'm really enjoying it, it a unique piece and an outstanding vape. I ended up getting my pipe from Ken today.

It's a sickness ;)

It's an 18500 that Ken had finished and the buyer went MIA. It's a Canary wood with some nice zebra type grain. I was a little hesitant on the smaller battery but so far the 18500 is good.

I have an Elk antler I got from a friend that I am thinking about building a pipe out of but I'm not sure I have the skills. I saw your first build, it was real nice. I look forward to the pictures on either site ;)

Marc, start with some wood scraps you have laying around. I can answer any questions along the way. It is a lot of fun and I have no woodworking or soldering skill. I just went for it. I do have a lot of tools though (not that you need them). Go for it.

Yep, I started taking some measurements and ordering some parts last night. I appreciated the offer for help.

Wow that second to the last picture one is just a beauty!! :)

KV, that's a Puma original from Czech Republic. And he got it mailed to my house in Chicago faster then most local vendors. He makes some pretty unique stuff and it vapes real nice.

Very nice! And I recognize the name from another forum.

That FTM you posted today is also very nice! I'm still waiting for mine to be finished. I had the Puma with me today.

And defdock, they look at us weird no matter what device we carry. It really doesn't matter.

I got stopped several times today because people wanted to check mine out, one person was from the local PD but only because he thought it looked cool.

It's a nice vape and different, relaxing and with a 26ga .8 ohm coil it runs for the day. I picked up the 25mm Subtank plus that sits on it nicely. The K4 clone is also working very well.

I was looking at this one so I can finish my journey to bankruptcy. That's a 25 mm tank on there?

It is a K4 tobeco clone Vinny. I've been running the Subtank Plus with the rebuildable RBA since that picture. It's a decent combo and so far the Smok is holding up well and no leaking from the Subtank. It holds a little over 6mls of liquid.

Dear Ol' Dad's vintage Calabash is taking temporary Leave from Ft. Vape to be re-Purposed and re-Assigned as an APV Officer. Ships out today to Ft. Worth and undergo its transformation by the esteemed Specialist of "The Pipe Revolution".
Once its training and transformation is complete, it will return to Ft. Vape in its new Form & with its new Identity as General S. Holmes, Commander of Special Vape Operations. We here at Ft. Vape are quite excited indeed for Gen. Holmes to be back in action, re-fitted, re-commissioned, and on Duty where he belongs.

HUGE Thanks & Salute to Big Juicy for setting this Mission in motion and providing a capable and apt Conduit & Venue

Means a TON to me to soon be able to wield this Pipe proudly as my Father did. An Honor and a Privilege.

Pics will follow upon its return... :thumb:

That is one thing I truly miss about smoking (probably the only thing at this point) is my collection of pipes. They were always sleek, and practical. I always preferred the bent style (think old Sherlock Holmes imagery) because I had a strong jaw, and always rested it on my chin. Some of these are absolutely amazing! The SMOK Guardian III looks interesting too, maybe if the price is right I will pick one up soon as an introduction piece. It's getting close to summer-like weather here and (like years past) I'm missing sitting outside with a nice glass of scotch and a bowl full of English-blend.

Why not just convert one (or more ;)) of your prized Collection?
Sure the G3 is fine but ain't no way in Hail it can begin to hold a candle to what you have either Aesthetically or Sentimentally.

This is my vintage Calabash currently at The Pipe Revolution for restoration & conversion:

Probably mate a 417L SS-built black Bellus to it.
Will post Pics upon its return

This is the rusticated Briar (I think that's what these are called?) I plan to send next:

Lastly, one of these two carved Meerschaums will go to be transformed:

Should be a fine start (;)) to yet another glorious Obsession :D

Hitcat, those are going to be nice converted. Are you going to have toothless do the conversion?

I have one that I hope I can convert this one to a 18500. I think it has the bowl depth.
