I plan to start making my own mods soon and I need help picking out a soldering iron. I see that the Hakko F888D is a very popular choice, but I don't have 100$ to blow at the moment. So what lower end irons would you reccomend for a beginner? If you are able to effectively build regulated and unregulated mods with it, that's al that matters to me. I will by a Hakko or a Weller down the road, and I'll appreciate a good unit that much more when I do get it. I'm just really excited to get started and anything that worked for you and comes in at under 50$ has a good shot at getting purchased. This desire to start learning this craft has infected my brain and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm obsessed lol. The sooner than I can start trying some of these things that I've been reading about, and viewing in countless hours of YouTube the better. Thanks in advanced!
