Some advice on what type for me to buy?

I guess it depends on whats available to you. What's the situation like, are there black market retailers, or is customs relaxed enough that you can order from overseas? If that's the case, what's your budget?

Assuming you are from SG check out this forum: SG Vapers. Make sure you read all the "stickies" as there are special rules you must follow when posting due to the sensitivity of vaping in SG. You won't be able to ask where to buy hardware/juice in SG as your government monitors/reads ECF forum posts. It's all explained here => Newbies Q&A Thread. [PLEASE READ]
If you are able to travel to JB (and are willing to take the risk on getting back through customs) check out the Malaysia Forum for vape shops across the causeway.
You will not be able to post in the SG Vapers Forum until you have your first 5 posts (or replys) and the server updates at :25 past the hour.
One further word of caution from another SG member:

hahaha yea i am sure about the opinion part... haha but i think i am someone easily satisfied... like how i choose my ciggs, i walk into the store, and get the cheapest pack. haha
Good flavor is not at the cheapest. But, it is not necessarily at the expensive side either.

@Jojo1991, I've seen a few new members from SG being able to find a Kanger Subox Mini Kit in JB.
The mod needs an 18650 battery (not included in the kit). The Samsung 25r's are great 20A battery for this mod. The tank included in this kit (Subtank Mini) uses stock coils which will last 2-4 weeks depending on how much you vape. The kit also comes with an RBA base which allows you to build your own coils using A1 Kanthal wire.
I think there are many SG members also getting into DIY as far as making their own juice.
Also check out Malaysian reviewer Richard NG who does reviews on mods/tanks/drippers/juice. He often tells you where you can get the product he reviewed and how much it costs. Here's his review of the Subox Mini Kit.

Welcome and glad you are here! Don't feel alone because our Country (USA) is quickly becoming strict as well. Maybe not so much in regards to vaping but give it time and I am sure it will be.
thanks everyone feel so at home here haha... it's true that we smokers/vapors(in this case) become best friend instantly puffing together... and are never selfish with information 
for subox mini... we have to get the battery separately right? i guess that is not illegal to get?
Hi and welcome. I haven't got any idea about your country, but I can confirm the Subox is nice gear, and that it uses a separate battery. I can't imagine batteries would be unlawful, but governments are strange things.
Found one that's able to ship to this "lil red dot" but don't know if it's worth it or not urgh
If you can get your hands on one sigelei 150w is a beast and my personal favorite it can be used from beginners all the way up to the highest of seasoned vets in the USA you can find them for around $80 - $140 you will need to purchase 2 batteries a charger and a tank for this for a newer vaper I'd go with arctic tank you can run at lower watts and when you get used to it can take it all the way up to 100w great tank easy function
