Pretty close. It's really six of one vs half a dozen of the other. You get better run time with the 25R but the VTC4 runs cooler at above 20A.
The 25R is really a darn good all around cell.
The HB6, HD2, and VTC4 are better if your current levels are truly huge and the HG2 and 30Q are better for under 20A. But if you're around 20A, there's no better cell for the money. In fact, for the low cost of the 25R, it can still be a good option for lower current levels too. All depends on whether your priority is low cell cost or performance at a particular discharge current range.
