While conventional advice is to use the 510 connection to spin your mod with a drill, I worry about damaging the threads.
You may find a 3/4" drum sander convenient for replicating that lathe action.

With the sandpaper removed the cylinder expands securely inside a 22mm mod.

I've taken the base from a tc3 clearomizer and screwed it onto the base of any 510 connection

and it will tighten down against the bottom of any dripper and maybe a person could

attach the tc3 base into a drill somehow, just sayin.........

This screws onto any 510 dripper base and mite work for buffing drippers

If you could screw your mod with ego threads onto the t3 base it mite work or use 510 adapter

to get the mod attached to the base...........and then attach base from the top into drill

chuck......
