I know...so...TRENDY.
I often will end up getting top quality stuff - but usually I'm a late-adopter. I waited like a year to enjoy a Goon. Heck, I just picked up a Hobo Drifter.
But this stuff - mods and rda's - I just wanted them from the launch, so I dove in early.
Both setups vaping perfectly - really really nice - right from first build.
Need a better color ring tho.

How are you liking the therion. I am very tempted. Dang shinyitis :(

Well I'm new to DNA mods but not new to bottom fed as I've owned reos for many years!

With that said it's seems solid and very high end! Squonks without issue!! Very happy with it and glad I bought 2 so I can fully mess around with them.. one on wattage and the other in temp mode.

Gota cut it short as food is ready!

2 thumbs up!!

Do you find it hits harder with the direct contact ? I am having a bit of a mystery with my Ram. I assumed the wire would cause at least a bit of vtage drop but suprisingly I am finding it hits hard. Harder then some of my squonkers with silver and copper contacts....? Very confused

I can't tell any difference in functionality or performance. I just did it to get a softer button throw. Don't get me wrong there's a huge possibility that some may outperform others. It is China we're referencing here lol.

The stock wire is of adequate gauge, so there's no way you could tell the difference based on the wire alone. It would have to be very thin to hold back the current noticeably, even measurably. Weak hitting is almost always caused by incomplete contact at contact points.

This was the biggest issue I found. At first I thought it was just buildup from arcing, but it's actually the plating that has wore off. This is after just over a week of daily usage.

Yup, contact points and mediocre plating. Of course Deoxit would really help there, after you've cleaned it up.

I'm sure though whatever is off in the mechanism can be easily tuned. A badly machined wood body couldn't. The body is worth the price of entry IMO.
