Hi all! The store was closed due to a mandatory cart upgrade. I figured I would take that time to schedule some doctors appointments in hopes of a procedure such as a nerve block or epidural to alleviate the back pain from on ongoing issues of which surgery will be required in a few months.
Things didn't go as planned (do they ever?) and I'm jumping through hoops seeing doctors and specialists and having tests done. I apologize to all it has effected and inconvenienced. I also am only able to sit and respond to emails and PMs for so long and sometimes it takes 2-3 hours to respond to the PMs and emails from the day, in fact I still have a few of you to respond to, and will, a little at a time today.
No one wants KBV to succeed more than we do, we've put our hearts, souls, and made many family sacrifices for it. We realize there has to be growing frustration with ordering and the ability, or lack, of through the site. Unfortunately I am not in a position to do that right now. I am working with someone to help inventory and maintain the site in the event of my short term absence. We also realize communication is key and that is why I am taking the time to fill everyone in here in one post.
We are currently taking orders by sending paypal invoices or by check or MO as this doesn't effect the mixers and is more isolated to the operation of the store. I plan to open the store Monday at noon to allow people to get some much needed orders in. I cannot promise we will remain open too long. We will take 100 or so orders and close while I continue to work on medical solutions, work with breaking in someone in to operate the store, and attempt to catch back up to the market.
I cannot guarantee that we will be able to run uninterrupted once we open and may have to go to a 4 day a week ordering schedule. What I can promise is we will do our best as we always have. The stumbling block has always been that we made a commitment to our customers in the beginning that we would always do all the mixing ourselves and not hire mixers who we felt wouldn't take the same pride and care in our product that we do having a vested interest. We have stayed with and have no intention of swaying from that commitment, that in itself poses one of our biggest problems meeting demand.
The issues with my back were a concern going in but neglecting the proper treatment due to the success of KBV compounded them as well. We feel KBV is on the right track albeit a difficult one to maneuver at times on our end, and I'm sure from the consumer standpoint. We feel we will manage this and it is temporary, we went from a small supplier to a rather large one in a short and unexpected period.
We appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and concern during this time and thank Y'all
Sincerely
KBV
