Thanks guys. There's still a few hours left of work to do on it but I can't wait to put some clear on it. My phone doesn't capture it very well but the grain is intense.
Sorry I haven't posted much lately. The green one is finished and I'm heading out of Alaska and back to the lower 48 in 7 days. The green one came out a lot better than expected. As of right now, I have a second green blank that's ready to route out but no mod to stick it in when its finished. When I get situated back home I'm probably going to order two more and then I'm going to stop tinkering with these.
No clear coat yet. Its just sanded and buffed right now. Looks like a semi gloss satin finish
I've been packing up to leave Alaska so I haven't taken many pics. Tomorrow is my last day here. I'll flood this thread when I get back to reasonable internet.

Great job. I have some stabilized wood coming (various types) and found a local fellow who makes it and is willing to work up what I need. Waiting for this one:
Makes what? You mean he shapes the wood to your specifics or makes a mod for you?
He makes stabilized wood and will supply it in size that I can use to make a mod.
