Just wanted to say thanks to whoever solved the problem and resurrected TapaTalk.

Got an email back from the tapatalk admin, apparently once they were aware of the issue they contacted ecf.... Things got worked out

I cleared my cache and rebooted my phone - logged off and now I really have nothing. I'm getting "failed to process XML data due to unknown error when trying to log back in.

I had luck deleting ecf then from tapatalk then reloading it

I realize that perhaps TapaTalk isn't the easiest / most secure solution for forum admins, but for those of us on mobile devices who follow numerous forums, it really is a great solution.

From a user's standpoint, Tapatalk is awesome. From an Admin standpoint, it's a security nightmare. So if you run across a site that flat refuses to install it, that's why.

How so? I run a few forums and have been testing TT on one.
I don't sllow registration through TT for other reasons.

Well for starters, it's a script that isn't maintained by site admins - only Tapatalk, so if they make a mistake, you suffer. I'll let retired1 go through the details.

It will reset tapatalk to initial settings but since your definitions are stored on Tapatalk servers, once you login on Tapatalk, it will retrieve them and populate all your subscribed forums

I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesn't use a TT account.

As for yoy example, that is true of ever single mod/add-on to any forum, or even web-browser plug-ins/ectensions.

At least with the forum I can review the code, as can 1000s of others.
Try doimg that with browser extensions.

I uninstalled TapTalk from my Galaxy S5 and reinstalled it and it works well. I do like the new black screen option for viewing. It's easier on the eyes. I do not like that I. Annie upload a standard pic anymore as I get the "file too large" error. Have to figure that one out.

Tapatalk was working for me yesterday (and today) but my "participated" threads is empty now. Is anyone else having this issue? They were there yesterday.

I noticed the same thing, but figured since tapatalk was working it was my connection, figured at least it was working
