From a user's standpoint, Tapatalk is awesome. From an Admin standpoint, it's a security nightmare. So if you run across a site that flat refuses to install it, that's why.

How so? I run a few forums and have been testing TT on one.
I don't sllow registration through TT for other reasons.

Please PM me any relevant info.

Well for starters, it's a script that isn't maintained by site admins - only Tapatalk, so if they make a mistake, you suffer. I'll let retired1 go through the details.

I hope he will respond.

As for yoy example, that is true of ever single mod/add-on to any forum, or even web-browser plug-ins/ectensions.

At least with the forum I can review the code, as can 1000s of others.
Try doimg that with browser extensions.
