vegetable GLYCERIN
and
vegetable GLYCEROL

Not if they are both made from vegetables. Usually when it says vegetable it is strickely made from plants alone. If it just says glycerol (without the vegetable)then it can be made from by products of fuel or animals even tho their chemical symbols are the same.

As long as they have the same CAS number...they are the same.
VG = CAS number 56-81-5
PG = CAS number 57-55-6
