I can't help but be reminded of a story (myth?) about the magnificent golfer, Ben Hogan, who was known as much for his surly nature as he was for his ultimate superiority on a golf course.

Supposedly, Mr. Hogan was doing a charity event one day, playing with a writer from some newspaper.

He hit a very difficult approach-shot, of about 185 yards, landing it 4 feet from the pin.

The writer, quite impressed with the difficulty of the shot, exclaimed, "Wow! GREAT shot. What club did you use there?"

Hogan looked at the gentlemen, then proceeded to pull out every single club in his bag, one by one, and hit the shot again, over and over. Each shot landed within a foot of the original one.

He turned to the writer, clearly disgusted with the man, and said, "Don't EVER ask me what club I used..."
