Yes they are sweet and sure would like one. I'll keep reading through this thread to get a full understanding of them then. They appear to be Bullet proof and that is what I would like. Something I can work on my Cars and not have to worry about but keeps on working whole I'm working.:)

Could you please explain the Bridge part al little for me?
I the self-contained BBox will stand up to what you're looking for!

I only own the BVC and Nautilus Bridges, but I can break them down for you...

They each come with a little collar that screws on to the bottom of the respective coils (BVC or Nautilus), and an upper tube that screws on (Nautilus), or is press fit on (BVC).

The purpose of these attachments, is to make the coil fit into an upper and lower O-ring in the tank...just like a carto.

And that's it.

Once the coil is installed, and the tank is filled up, it slides right into the box, and the drip tip adapter screws in from above to hold it all in place. There are also hybrid drip tips that do the same thing.

Love this device.

Cool thanks for the explanation HBcorpse, got it, and would like to get it:) tired of breaking Glass Tanks and or Mods. Appreciate that, and hope to get one soon.
Haven't heard back to see if there is a wait list or you just check back on the site Saturday mornings and hope for the best:thumb:

Are all those units in that Porn Post yours? Or are they up for sale?

As of right now, the site still has the Rev-3a (same as in my pics), for sale.
I'd recommend a "Go fetch now!" mentality, but I don't wanna speak for your ability to buy (or not).

Their Facebook page updates when they will release batches.

The ones I pictured are all mine. I just received two of them this week, and I felt like posting a family photo and bio!

The biggest difference between what I've got pictured (Rev-3a) and the currently out-of-stock newer models (Rev4), are:
Rev3a uses "analog" power handling from 4 volts to 5.5 volts, with a safety cutoff at end of battery charge. Think Provari v2.5, if that helps.
The Rev3a also uses two small batteries (16340). These batteries need to be "married", meaning used in dedicated pairs.

The Rev4 uses DNA40 electronic board power handling up to 40 watts, and uses a single 18650 battery.

They have physical differences too.
The Rev3 is flat on front and back, and uses carbon fiber as the face plates, with a sliding door to access the internals.

The Rev4 has a VERY slight outward curve to the front and back, and uses G10 (or optional Kirinite) material for the face plates, aweigh embedded magnets that allow removal for access to the internals. The G10 and Kirinite materials are most notably found in very high-end knife handles, and are very rugged/durable materials.

HB did an exemplary job of giving the deets on the B Box (well done, HB!). If you do have any more questions, please feel free to ask, subway.

I happen to love the Billet Bridge for Aspire BVC coils in the B Box. They just WORK, and work well.

Yummm.

Thanks Unk!

And truer words cannot be spoken!

In less than two months, I went from drooling over my first BBox purchase (on the Classies), to now owning SIX of them...

And that don't mean I'm done...cuz I'll still be hunting the Classies!

I vape 18 all day long but sub-ohm 6mg. I get the same satisfaction.
Why don't you and Deb just pour a little nic in your coffee. Probably get the same affect.
..........................
spointing_left_100-102.gif
hehehe jup.......hey I'm thrilled to be down to 18 after over 4 years. Took me goin to a .5 ohm coil to do it, but I think I'm there. I don't care about the amt of nic I vape, but going lower will make my nic last longer.

I also just wanted to mention that every day for the last 2 years I have carried to work with me 1 billet box (silver) and my oldest BB my RPG. Several months ago I got a holster for one of them, which I put the silver in. It was so hot and humid today I had to take off my denim shirt I usually wear, that I carry my RPG in its pocket, so it ended up in a T-shirt pocket. I should have known better when it slipped out once, but I just put it back. Then later on in the day it slipped out again, This time it fell into a bucket of threading oil. I of course cleaned it off, I had to dump the tank, change the coil, it looked like not much oil got inside the box at all. After all that it would not fire, I then tonight tried to dip it in some Virgina 10 degreasing solvent to get the oil out of the internals, I used that because it evaporates completely, leaving no residue. That was 2 hours ago, while typing this I realized it was long enough to check it, WOOHOO!!! it works again. That really freaked me out, I thought for sure it was going to have to go in for repair. no more T-shirt pockets! so after all that.:D

KAS
that's fantastic that it works again. Tell the mod and the tank that got dunked that you were simply baptizing them, and maybe they'll play nice again with each other.

Y'all ready for some box p0rn?

Hehehe...

I haz took some peekchers that you can haz a looks at!
(They are posted in age order, not purchase order.)
-------------------------
Meet Shine. My 2nd BB. A "Clear" 2013 Rev-2. model. Purchased second hand from the Classies. Shine prefers a White Boro tank with a BVC Bridge.
Shine is the wise Elder of the group. When the others need spiritual council, they seek the sage advice of this box. Don't let the age or battle scars fool you...Shine still kicks hard!
d60e2efc0ce6073e0cf52b9b41800842.jpg

-------------------------
This is Kong. My first BB. A Rat Black 2014 Rev-3a model. Purchased second hand from the Classies. Kong uses a Black Boro tank with a Nautilus Bridge, but appreciates the wisdom of the Delrin days.
Kong is my first in command, and oversees the activities of the others. Think "unspoken leader". Kong is very serious, but has been known to drop hilarious jokes every now and then, bringing the others to tears...even Shine and Neville.
d9573fc017c99f6f3ec2773c4fe1c5b0.jpg

-------------------------
Here's Jazz. My 4th BB. A Piebald 2015 Rev-3a model. Purchased second hand from the Classies. Jazz also uses a White Boro tank, with a BVC Bridge...which makes some members of the team hint at a blood-relationship between Shine and Jazz.
While looking like a fancy pants, Jazz is really a huge goofball. Jazz is my second in command, and frequently accompanies me to gala events.
be303dafc6119f49ed71b9a295651981.jpg

-------------------------
Now, this is Unit 3. My 3rd BB. A Rat Black 2015 Rev-3a model. Purchased second hand from the Classies. Unit 3 has not spoken a preference in tanks or atomizers.
Unit 3 refused to take a "proper" name, and doesn't really get along with the others, preferring a more solitary existence in a cardboard box. The team seems to think that Unit 3 resents Kong's appearance and leadership position. Unit 3 may be heading to a new home soon.
1801404ac7418d161e7b3e9ce4992eb0.jpg

-------------------------
Yesterday, Donovan arrived. A Dober 2016 Rev-3a model. Purchased factory new. Donovan will not consider any other tank than the Black Boro, and prefers a BVC Bridge, but doesn't mind a Nautilus Bridge.
Donovan has a little discoloration on the inside of the sliding panel. This adds a little character to an otherwise dapper team member. Think "ruggedly handsome".
016bff7b5691eae1f65873b5e6e04ffa.jpg

-------------------------
Today, Neville joined the group. A Royal Purple Grey 2016 Rev-3a model. Purchased factory new. Neville's weapon of choice is a Black Boro tank with a BVC Bridge, but has requested a Nautilus Bridge. Headquarters is shipping the requested gear today.
Neville is quiet and slow to speak, and only does so when there's something worth saying. Neville has shown great interest (and potential) in being the team's daily field scout.

As a tribe, they prefer Black AW ICR-123's, with the occasional Red AW's. They openly share their drip tips and hybrid drip tips, and enjoy a wide range of fruit, dessert, and savory flavored juices.
Together, they make up my Billet Box family.
Here's some group shots:

They may not be everyone's favorite colors or models, but they're mine, and they're perfect! (Even Unit 3...Le sigh.)

Beautimous!! Love the story too! May have to borrow (ok, steal) the idea iffn ya don't mind

That is one SWEET Box Mod; and a Squonker too. DANG! Got to get one of those
Howdy darlin!! Fancy seeing you here!!

All the others (BBox excluded) are either cheap Chinese devices, or janky DNA devices
Not ALL :D but yeah, most of em

@HBcorpse what a great family post.

Nice to see I am not the only one who names their BB and you are right they have their own personalitys. My RPG is Rupert (he is a bit snobby) my dobber is Coco (always stylish) black is Soot (or sook as we affectionately call him) and my bright blue is Carla. I managed to buy a royal blue and a green from the good folks here that are still finding their feet in the land downunder and I think It will be better when they loose their American accents. ROFL

Ok so HERE is a question for you BBOXERS:

Do you swap tanks between boxes?

With tube mods, like my Provaris, it's easy to swap one atomizer to another, depending on mood, taste, aesthetics, etc.

With the BBox, the device looks the same, minus drip tip, regardless of the tank.

So, for example, Donovan (my Dober Rev3) uses a BVC Bridge with a coffee flavor.
But I feel like I'll want the Dober body with a different flavor tomorrow. So I'll need to swap tanks with another box.

Up to now, I've kept each tank exclusive to each box.

So do I openly swap each tank to each box, depending on what I feel like carrying...? The same way I do with my Provaris?

Thoughts? Opinions?

My two fav accents to listen to are Aussie and Scot! But next time someone tells me I have an accent.......I'll just say huh-nuh we all have American accents! lol

@subwayaznm I'm taking a guess by the name that you might be from Arizona or New Mexico. Welcome to the BB club here. I'm in Northeast AZ just over a 1hr away from the I-40 and Holbrook.
he's gonna have to add some more state initials to his username!

I would imagine you could swap out tanks HB but whadda I know. Hafta wait for some more folks to wake up.

Discounting mechs, which are useless to me, I haven't found anything tougher than the BB Rev 3's and/or Provi v2.5's. They're about as close to bullet-proof as I can find.

Absolutely (swap-able).

In my younger days (HA!) I used to carry two Rev 3's and three tanks, because I vape three juices during most days. MUCH swapping gone on, OH YEAH (nodding head, VERY cooly).

:lol::blush:
