Good to hear shes on the mend. I love the water nipples. In the quail pens I use plastic pitches that I put water nipples in. Got them hanging from a big nail. Super easy water stays clean.

ooohhhh! They are beautiful! I have two eggers that look like that. They are the sweetest gals.
Yours might look like that too. I have two like that, and three that are white and gold. One is almost all white, with little splashes of gold on her wings. She always coos like a dove when she sees me. 
I'm sorry but "chicken " just doesn't seem right...
They need a name that speaks to how cool looking they are.
We've got Pheasant and quail, flamingo and peacock and thunderbird, ooops, no, sorry. scratch thunderbird, but "chicken" just doesn't cut it.

But it does fit. They are super nosy, but if they hear a strange sound they all run screaming. Before they look to see what it is.

27 of 30 Quail hatched today no picks they look the same as the ones last week. Set 80 quail last evening 45 are the blonds. Will post picks when the blonds hatch. Have some blonds due on the 11th.

I'm thinking of sending my wyandottes to freezer camp. They just aren't getting along. I thought that the bigger girls were just picking on them, but it appears that they are the ones that start the squabbles. Darn birds. Might be down to eggers, marans and Stretchy pretty soon. And a full freezer of course.
