This thread is for all of your awesome builds, functional or non-functional. Coil porn is awesome looking pictures of complex coils, with or without a wick, in an atty or not installed yet. Feel free to ask and share tips and tricks on how you build your coils!

• The only rule of this thread is the pictures of posted coils MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK.
• NO IMAGE THEFT, NO CLAIMING OTHER BUILDERS' WORKS FOR YOURSELF.

Now I'll kick it off with some of my builds that have most likely already been posted.

I have the LEAST steady hands, (not getting into why my hands shake so much constantly) and take all my pics on an iPhone 5s...yours are gold compared to mine haha.
Btw- interlocking alien yet? The wire pic in my OP is a macro from a 2&1/2" double stitched interlocking alien.

It's a flattened triple interlocking alien with cores removed and a piece of 24g shoved in the middle.

My other @coil_architects feature (older). I didn't ask them or @ them in my pics, they just went off my hashtag I guess. Feels cool when someone else finds your pics and reposts their awesomeness.

Assumptions were checked, you did not edit any of those pictures, the only editing done was screen shot to square crop, & cropped out and blurred some watermarks of the original builders.

Don't call people show offs when it's a "specialty thread" money. The people on here have known each other a minute. Hey guess what I just got done talking to Kent from twisted messes, who cares. Just fall back, it's a lot easier to say " hey I worded my post wrong" and take the high road then insult a member people like myself have all learned this wire twisting thing with.

You're right, my bad everyone. Trying to work on this Slentre coil but my gloves are worn through. With a 10 hour carpentry day and soar hands it's something I'm going to continue tomorrow.

Lol just because I posted a couple pics from coil_architects doesn't mean I don't have builds feat. in other places. This thread is for coil porn. Not you making noise and drama because you were wrong.

New tripod showed up, been slacking here are some more from my current build. I love this combo for framed staple. 6x.4n80ribbon framed with 2x28n80 fused with 36n80 5wrap 3mm @ .09Ω Pretty much my perfect vape for a mech. You can put any wrap you want on the outers, stagger fuse, fuse, alien, reverse alien, spaced, it doesn't matter, this combo is awesome.

Flavor is out of this world.

Hey Wharf, looks like you went a little heavier than 32g on that braided you did? ...Good job, well done and yer they dont look the prettiest coils but they do work well once you find what works well.. back when i started doing them i experimented with heavy gauge but much preffered the lighter stuff myself.


I see a lot of nice coils and photos guys, keep it up, looking good

Do you still have a PS3 & black ops (world at war may be stretching it)? If you do wanna play some OG zombie maps?
Anyways...this was an attempt at a double stitched interlocking alien from a while back. Most of it came out right. Pretty sure it's double stitched 40g & a 34g interlocking alien over 2x26g

Tried my first stitched whatever you call it. Only using 1 core wire.

24n80 core, 32ga Clapton with 28n80 for stitch.
