I will say... Despite ordering the Copper Ohmega & receiving the Brass, at least I got to see & feel, just how big the mod really is & whether or not it feels comfortable in the hands. And "NO" it was not... Not at all..It felt clumsy to fire it & its length makes it feel awkward to compensate for. So I am glad, I at least got the opportunity to hold 1 in my hands & I honestly think I probably would've wasted money. I definitely wouldn't have used it outside of the house & since its uncomfortable to hold, not much in the house either. So yeah, I'm pretty sure the box mod version will be more suitable to meet my needs & it won't feel awkward in my hands. But most of all, I'll be able to put any size atty on top. The 26650 Ohmega tube mod makes reg 22mm atties look like drip tips on top & the only atomizers that look good on it, is 28.5mm + atties. At least with a box mod, just about anything I put on top, will look great... Yup !! My mind is made up, a box mod will be much more suitable for my needs... Now, my only issue is, finding 1 that's in stock, for a reasonable price...(sigh) Let the search begin.....o_O:D:pervy:

26g n80 claptoned with .5x.1mm ka-1 ribbon. 6 wraps with an ID of 2.5mm and came out to .39 ohms.

2x 28g n80 for the core wires claptoned with .5x.1mm ka -1 then slightly twisted after. 6 wraps also wrapped around a 2.5mm rod and came out to .40 ohms.

Both vape real nice though my 26g clapton vapes a bit better. It's been a while since I used ribbon wire and forgot how much I like it :)

I haven't been posting much in terms of images or anything as of late but there are reasons for that. I'm on a working vacation right now, getting back to the decks and performing live for some Coachella week parties & managing some of my producers out in the desert right meow. Should be a fun weekend, but I hate waking up at 5AM, I know I won't be able to sleep until most likely 5am tomorrow haha. C'est le vie.

So I'll post these 2 pics now until I get back to home base in NJ.

Absolutely Beautiful... Okay, that just inspired me to go get some practice in...:D Not sure what :blink:you call it, but I'm gonna try doing a type of braid with ribbon wire or some kind of wire in the center/core. I just saw a video on it & it looks doable...Maybe I can get my brother to try it with me :smokie:Wish me luck & does anyone own the HOG V2 ?? The Hammer Of God V2 mod ? I just found out the BMF 26650 mod is discontinued & the HOG V2 clone, is the only series mod that looks like it might have some descent power behind it...Yeah, I'm in love with Series mods now... And I'm loving 30mm atties... I was actually looking at the Mason RDA, either the 30mm or 40mm version & the HOG is probably the only box mod, that won't have any drastic over hang... My OCD can't have that...lol:nun:

May I ask, what kind of coils would you use this for ?? Yeah, I know... I don't mean to be nosey, but if its helpful in building coils a lil easier, I gotta know
Check the last page, the coils I posted is what I used the gears for. It's called a corrugated coil.

Edit: oh and if you need any help just ask. I don't mind helping.

Edit 2: here's a pic of the wire I did

So yea that's a problem when wrapping them. That's why you should frame them with straight ribbon, or instead of a single corrugated strand like I did use 2 together. That gives it a little more durability. Because I don't know if you can see in the pictures I posted the corrugated bits do tend warp a bit. I wrapped it in a vice with nylon pliers. But you definitely have to be more gentle then normal staple coils.

First go at an alien. Finally getting these higher gauges down. 3x26ka aliened w/ 34ga nichrome. Had a beautiful blue/teal color and had some great golden colrered leads when this got heated up. Sorry I didn't get a color shot, next time?

So I got a nice glow shot of this finally. Sorry if these look like crap I went for an alien after getting a few fused Clapton's down. Fairly new to this.

So I haven't been very happy with the way my pictures have been coming out lately, so I decided to make a cheap little home made lightbox. Do you guys use them? Here's a couple pics, not much to look at but it works.

And here's how the pics came out

What do you all think? Don't mind the flash light on the right side I have to buy another lamp lol.

I made something very similar, but with black construction paper as the background last week. Makes a huge difference.

Also I have a lamp with 3 positionable lights so I point 1 at each of the windows in the box. $15 at Walmart.
