Say what now? Care to run that by me again. Thought I was following you, but then nope.
Options for fusing those two halves together. Don't know what I'm going to do, as in use a 44g fuse, a 46g fuse, 44g & 46g alternating every other stagger, 40g/46g micro-clapton etc. So many choices.

4 loop 34g N80 flat vertebraid twisted with 24g ss316l. 4.75mm ID, 0.29 ohms. Big punch you in the tongue flavor!

Ahhhh. Thought that is were you were headed. Just to make things awesome looking, I'm going to suggest alternating between 44 and 46. Haven't worked with anything smaller than 36g myself, but your skills are much higher than mine.

Skills is a relative term. Ill tell you, I've failed way more than I've succeeded in building. Sometimes you get it perfect sometimes things get complicated.

I'm no big shakes when it comes to fancy coil creation but am in awe of what I see on this thread when I stop by.
Just got a Baal v3 that I need to build a 0.45-0.55 dual Clapton to try in series mod. I'm looking at 11/12 wraps with these wires of 24 core wrapped in 30 awg kanthal. Any tips on putting this build together would be much appreciated.

I got some close-up filters to fit the lens of my dslr yesterday (cheap way to go macro) and banged this coil out to do some test shots. Some shots focus stacked, others not.

Fused Clapton with different sized cores. 1 - 24g ss316l, 1 - 28g ss316l, wrapped in 32g N80. 0.30 ohms and a 4.75mm ID.

My poor contribution of a framed staple...yeah, that is 32ga for the wrap, I am out of anything smaller for at least a month.

If you have 30 or 32 as your highest gauge, by chance do you have any 18g? Id say make up some arched Claptons. They're "fancy" and vape like a poor man's aliens. In all reality they're a great vape. Ohm out a bit low depending on what your cores are though.

24g SS316L space claptoned with a 30g KA1 3 loop Celtic braid. 0.30 ohms; 4.76mm ID. Don't know if it was because of the kanthal braid wrap, or what but blew right through most the color range. Tastes good though.

Only editing was focus stacking and adding the watermark.
