If you move your coil slightly below the airflow, the in-flowing air will dampen the spit back, considerably.
This is why the ID of the coil has to be appropriate for the atty.

If the top of the coil is above the airflow vector you will inhale spit back off the top of the coil.

Too much cotton can cause 'spit-back', as much as not enough can.

The thinner the outter Clapton wire is, the smaller and more fine the spray &/or spit-back will be, as well.

I am using K24 2 post atty atm... I can try to move the coil closer to the air holes.

Not trying to be an ... here but that coil is jacked up. A fused clapton would probably be better much better.
Who ever sold that is just ripping people off.

A description of how "that coil is jacked up" could be useful here

That's what they should look like. No gaps and every rung hit.

A stagger fuse isn't a huge leap from a fused clapton.
A 22/34 is a better vape than your typical fused clapton imo. Then after that it's 3x 26g/36g alien, then 4x 28g/36g alien, then staples.
I've never seen premade variations of any of these coils that were done right. Look at geek vapes...ugh.
The only real option for getting them is to make them or buy from builders. The mass produced ones are done poorly or just cheating. Instead of using 3x 26g they used a rectangular piece of metal with a horrible wrap...I can list more examples.

Yep. Staples are especially bad about spitting but I'm sure a stagger fuse will too.

I think that's happening because of the number of wraps you're using. I NEVER get spitback from staples or stagger fuses unless they're huge in gauges or they have too many wraps. Too much coil requires too much power leading to too much ramp time. Try making out some 5-6 wrap staples, say, 6-8x .4n80r cores with a 38 or 40g wrap.
Yet, with dual 8-10 wrap staples/framed staples you're gonna be drawing a ton of power from your mod and they're going to have ramp time just because of the coil size. So that leads to spitback.

For example; this coil does NOT spit. On any mod.

Swapped to normal nichrome fused claptons that I always used. Alot better...

Dan, shoot me a message, coils I have the perfect build for Kennedy decks :)
These:

Oooouuuuaaa yes that shot is on Kennedy IG, however the build is mine. I had an order for 10 pair of these and they were all sold within 2 days. So now I'm building way too many of them lol. But yeah. Your height on the other build on the Kennedy deck was fine before. I raise my coils a little bit higher over the AFC just to make sure sufficient air is getting through the atty.
