Well done video. Unfortunately, no shock to most of us - public health takes second place to dollars.
I saw a PBR program recently about the health supplements market. The short story -- supplement manufacturers are virtually unregulated. They can put anything into what they sell with no oversight. Unless a number of customers drop over dead, FDA doesn't care. The difference is that the supplement industry has a well funded lobbying group with no organized opposition. (Don't blast me for this -- just repeating what I heard. I'll assume that most mfgrs are responsible.)
[Tongue in cheek] Why don't we just drop the pretense -- fire our congressmen and replace them with representatives from the top 535 corporations. At least that would be an honest reflection of how things really work.
