I wish I could try this. I have a reaction to black pepper when I eat it, so vaping is more than likely a no no.

You could try jalapenos or some other type of hot pepper that doesn't cause you an allergic reaction. The procedure is pretty much the same.

Hey thanks for the posting, I'm going to try this.

Did you try?

When I first started vaping black pepper I would cough if inhaled too much.

Now I can vape strong and get a quality TH; no more cough reflex.

I've been using black pepper on dedicated dual coil for a few weeks and it's still working great; not a coil/wick killer.

Great nic substitute.

I'm steeping some ground red pepper, ground black pepper and tobacco in PGA tonight.

Have not tried to steep in PG.

So how much Black Pepper in how much PGA/Vodka would you recommend to get a usable extract? Then, of course, how much of that extract in our mixes is a good starting point?

It's been almost a day and the PG is definitely taking on the color of the cayenne. I might let it sit another day.

Cool...let me know how it works.

Is color like this?

25%-50% (by volume) ground pepper steeped in PGA overnight.

1%-10% pepper extract mixed w/ zero juice; 10% is very strong.

For beginners I recommend puffing w/o inhale...just like analog beginners shouldn't do.

I just tried something very similar and immediately fell in love with it! Did a week long infusion of fresh ground black pepper in vodka, same thing with chili peppers, mixed 10% of each infusion, 30% VG and 50% pg.. there's some throat hit, especially if you add a bit of oxygen to the draw.. smoother than nic for sure but it's there. The juice is a bit thin, I'll test 40% PG to 40% VG next time.. but the flavor is something I can't believe was missing from my life :) I'm in love with this 0nic juice! kinky eh?

steeping some blk pepper in pg now too..:)

Steeping in PGA produces a very clean liquid on top. Great to work with.

Steeping in PG produces a more cloudy liquid w/ some floaters.
You can see floaters in dropper and discard when transferring.
On occasion a floater will be get deposited on carto and can be easily removed w/ tooth pick.

Pictures are PGA steeped.

when soaked in pga..do you just add it to pg/vg? and/or tobacco?

PG steeped (PGA free) black pepper is also fun to vape. Can be mixed w/ any PG/VG eliquid.

When pepper is soaked in PGA I collect the head and mix it w/ any PG/VG zero.

Initially pepper TH is very strong and course. After some time TH improves. After more time pepper dosage must be increased for TH.

I enjoy vaping strong DIY black pepper Clinton style (no inhale). The vapor production is the best and most realistic I've found. Great to puff on and blow the Os.
