Yup....smpl tube/fountain with rematty top

i have seen a poster here on ECF (i think it was the Drifter) running a Fountain on a Kato mod and it makes perfect sense for that and looks good.

Most of my gear is b/f anyway, so it's hard to justify buying one, but i think Todd has reviewed it and speaks well of it.

Nice to see innovation!

Yeah those are the ones that look good when they are done with a small ball end mill bit. 1/16in or 1/32in (tiny) round tip bits. As opposed to the streight engraving bits that come to a point and just varry in degrees of angle. The Ball end mill bits are definitely the coolest imo. But they both do different things.

I'll get an example in a sec.

This is done With a larger 1/8in Ball End Mill Bit

This is two different bits, the eyeballs are done with an Engraving Bit that goes down to a point. Makes a more detailed, but smaller line. The outline of the robot head and mouth is a 1/16 in

TMC in the lid is an Engraving Bit as well.

STUMPY DRIP TIPS

White Teflon or Black Delrin Press-Fit
Ask your friends, haha. If anyone wants I can run off a batch. I can do them with a curve like they are pictured or streight up, from, flush from the ring around the top of the Stumpy so you can ditch the stock adapter.

If your interested like this page or reply or something and if there's a bit of interest we can figure it out.

Smooth, no rings around the tip like this black one shown.

I'll also do a free custom teflon tip, or something else cool, for whoever pays the coolest pics of their tmod. Anywhere but in the thread, just link it here and wet can vote. ... or maybe I'll just pic a winner, haha. Whatever. . I'm just a huge fan of teflon tips If you haven't tried one already, I highly recommend them.

I have two Fountains that I run on a Kato clone & a TC mod, nice cheap set up but the glass tank & top hats aren't secure enough for travel. I really wish someone would clone this clone with a better top cap set up since the taste is equal to any squonk box out there with the right build IMO.
