RDA Transverse Coils

I have searched around a bit and cant find much other than one picture of this. Anyone have much experience with transverse coil builds? Im thinking of doing one and lining the cener of the coils up with the air holes and surrounding the outside of the coils with cotton wicking.

The issue with transverse builds is the net coil tail length... the percentage of useable power loss will probably be double to triple that of a conventional horizontal or vertical coil.
In other words, a comparative loss of performance for the desired resistance... and in addition, the chance of a more "metallic" taste.

Try it... and build them as close as possible to a horizontal or vertical build baseline that you're familiar with. The worst that can happen is you're out a bit of supplies and time.
