I recently purchased a second Buzz as a back up and started having problems right off the bat. Lights were correct, batteries fine, no fire to carto. I swapped everything out to my old buzz and the carto fired fine. The only difference between the two buzzes was the brand new shorty adapter I had installed to the new Buzz. I took it off and cleaned it with alcohol, running a toothpick along the threads for good measure. Completely solved the problem. All I can think was that there was some factory "goo" left on the adapter from manufacture. Thought I'd mention it because if I hadn't had the two buzzes to compare I would never have thought to check it.
