Did anyone catch the e-cig joke on this week's episode of True Detective? Collin Farrell's character actually got in a few great lines during that conversation. I'm just now getting over that line about the e-cig though - I kept feeling like I was performing {Moderated} on a robot LOL

Ah, I rolled with it and chuckled a bit. I thought a lot of the dialogue in that scene was funny but I've seen a lot of different message boards that don't seem to agree on that LOL

And to be fair, I don't think it's anything to be outraged over. I saw one dig at vaping that made me crack up the other day:

>eating a steak
>just about to cut into it
>a tendril of smoke comes from over my shoulder and covers the steak

>it spreads over my face
>lights fade from sight
>blind for several minutes
>strong smell of bananas makes me gag
>smokes clears
>see 20 year old in a beanie with facial piercings
>holding a VHS Tape with a spout
>give him death glare
>he says “Hey man, it’s just water vapor”
>he rides away on his heelies

If we make fun of our community (to a degree) I think it takes out some of the weight when people genuinely try to knock/slander/demean vapers.

Yeah, there are digs that are kind of just fun, observational stuff - no harm intended. Then there are people that get irrationally bent out of shape from years of being on the offense with cigarette smoke. It can be a fine line.

I have heard that joke so many times today it's not even funny anymore. Only about 3 of us vape here at my orifice and all the die-hard analoggers have been stopping by our offices to crack that one. I never heard of tat show, but I guess it's pretty poopular.

Ok, there was another dig last night and it seemed a bit more nasty. For some reason, it was more annoying coming from Taylor Kitsch.
