My dad died. He had throat cancer, almost beat it, but died of complications at the very end. I still smoked for the next two years. This is my pledge. I quit cigarettes. I intend to make myself healthy, so my children don't have to hold my hand as I die as well. I will look as this post often, to remind myself of this promise. And to honor my absolutely awesome daddy, to know I will take care of his grand babies, and hopefully grand kids of my own.
