They're not true. But only because vaping hasn't been "killed", nor do they have the ability to kill it. They may injure it, or even cripple it, but they cannot kill it.
Conspiracy has a legal definition, when 2 or more people agree and take action with legal things for illegal ends or illegal things for legal ends. What's going on with ecigs is legal actions for legal ends. Better to call it corruption. A lot of people benefit from the $1 trillion tobacco business. They are going to protect their interests in all sorts of ways.
Conspiracy or not, there are a multitude of groups/organizations/agencies that are against vaping, and none of them appear to have the health and safety of smokers/vapers as their primary interest.
