hello, I will be travelling to Findland, where temperarures are expected to be
Around -15 celcius, I think that is around -4 F
Do I expect problems with coils popping, tanks cracking or e liquid freezing ?
Any suggestions how I can vape successfully please.
Many thanks.

Not much will change, though the liquid, especially high VG liquids will congeal and get thicker which could cause problems with tanks, drippers not so much, but with a tank if you are at the max VG ratio it can wick properly you might have to bring some juice with 10 to 20% more PG in it to compensate.

I live in a cold climate, I've even spent quite a few days snowboarding with a vape in my pocket. In general your body heat will keep it warm enough when you're outside. It's the warm days that include altitude changes that really screw things up for me.

Be careful with metal drip tips.

If you use temp control and let the coil get too cold the system may not supply enough power to hit the set temp. You might find you need to use watts control, which is not affected that way. In general I find vaping most enjoyable indoors and still trying to figure out why because I spend a lot of time outdoors.

    That's not extreme cold.

As said above keep your mod in an inside pocket and enjoy the massive clouds. I vape all winter in colder than that.
    Same here.

We have -0F to 100F temps during the year in Ontario and I treat both extremes the same..... I just never leave a mod or juice in the car or outside for extended periods of time when its too hot or too cold.

Never had a problem in -30-40C with my mod tucked away in the pocket of a good jacket. I don't really like vaping outside when it is super cold though.

I don't really like being outside when it's super cold eh.

I hike with my dogs all winter.
Last winter I vaped Max VG (3-5% saline) in my Crown tanks.
I hold the tank in my hand and keep switching hands to keep it warm enough.
or hit that .... so much that it stays warm :)
We don't hit less than -10F usually but I'm not hiking when it's that cold either.
6869 already mentioned don't leave it in your car.

If you use a metal mod, getting a silicone wrap would make it safer to touch in the cold, adds grip with gloves and insulates it a bit. Although electronics should work, a backup mechanical mod may be a good idea too should the extreme cold affect them. As noted above, metal drip tips are not an option - stick to plastic.
