I was in Sedona a few years back and even McDonalds signs have to be earthy tones. Govt wants all signs to blend into the surroundings IIRC.Soithern Arizona is beautiful.
Its hot as hell in the summer, but its awesome once the heat passes.

One of the wierdest things about AZ is the brown paint.
Every building I saw was painted brown. Signs are brown. Bridges, overpasses, gas stations....

My son is in Pheonix now visiting his girlfriend. It has been over 110F. "Dry heat" or not, that is friggin' hot!
