One thing that should be very helpful is the #Abillionlives documentary. The only thing that sucks is that this is an important time for our industry and that documentary may not make it's first appearance in time for some states prior to anti-vaping bills being passed and put into law, so please share these articles when you can.

It looks like the time has come to see if Congress will accept an amendment to change the date on the FDA's proposed regulations that would require any vape product released after February 2007 to undergo an expensive application process.

We may have word on this matter later today. In the meantime, vaping in between time, check out this finely written article on the matter and please continue to reach out to your elected officials and let them know of your experiences after making the switch from analogs to vaping. Remind them that we vape and we vote!

Awesome news! The UK is realizing the possibilities that e-cigarettes have.

US: Chinese vaping industry Association supports legal challenge to the FDA

I know that some people have their reservations towards Chinese Companies, but in this fight against the modern day prohibition of vape products, this coalition of big hitters in China will be a huge ally to our ultimate cause of keeping vape products on the market so that small businesses do not close down.

Research shows that vaping is at least 95% better than smoking. If thousands of vape companies go out of business, then the millions of smokers out there may never get to experience the difference that vaping brings.

Vape Read Of The Day!

As some of you may have known, shortly after the FDA released their final regulations over the vaping industry, Senator Ron Johnson sent a letter to the FDA asking for answers to some pretty straight-forward questions.

As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, he was searching for the same answers that we are. Such as, "Will the FDA issue a revised rule if there is sufficient data that finds that e-cigarettes are a safer alternative to traditional cigarettes?" and "Has the FDA considered the unintended consequences if decreased access to e-cigarettes leads to increased consumption of traditional cigarette and tobacco products?"

The FDA was given a deadline of about 2 full weeks to provide answers to his questions. This deadline came and went with the FDA completely ignoring his letter. This goes to show that the FDA believes they are above responding to consumer concerns even when coming from a committee that has some kind of oversight over them.

Senator Johnson is not taking this snub lightly and has once again sent another letter with a deadline to respond. Hit the link to take a look at the second letter and let us know what you think will come of it. Will the FDA respond with adequate answers?

Vape Read Of The Day!

As most of us have already heard by now, the FDA has announced in a revised Industry Guidance document they released, they will not enforce their December 31 2016 deadline for application submissions of manufacturers as long as they are received by June 30 2017.

We all understand that this is somewhat of a loosening of the grip, but why did they do this? And more importantly, does this mean that they will be able to handle the influx of submissions so that small businesses in our industry will be able to continue to stay in business throughout the process?

Well, we put together a blog entry with a little bit of history from prior applications that were done by companies much larger than the mom & pop shops that the vaping industry represents. It's a fairly long read, so if you have the spare time then please give it a read and let us know your thoughts.

We're hoping that mounting pressure on the FDA from the lawsuits and elected officials leads to a complete revision to the FDA Regulations, especially as it refers to the grandfathered product date and any other industry killing regulations. As many of you might have heard, the vaping congressman Duncan D. Hunter is set to release new
legislation that would separate e-cigarettes from traditional tobacco products and put it in it's
own category for regulation that is more fair for our products type.
