After a long time of development and testing, "VaporSuite" has finally been released!!!

VaporSuite is the ULTIMATE app for vaping enthusiasts. It has a full set tools for DIY juice-makers and coil-builders, keeps track of your daily vaping activities, and manages your consumables, vaping expenses and hardware.

VaporSuite is the most complete, most powerful, most user-friendly, most accurate, and most versatile app for vapers available today.

VaporSuite has 4 main modules:
  • The RECIPE module where you manage all your juice recipes,
  • The COIL DESIGN module where you manage the design and building of coils,
  • The JOURNAL module where you manage your daily vaping activities, purchases and hardware,
  • The OHM'S LAW module where you see the relationship between Volt, Ohm, Amp and Watt,
It also shows your VAPING ACHIEVEMENTS to keep you motivated.

Here is an an overview of VaporSuite.

VaporSuite is available for Android devices only (due to Apple's policy that prohibits and vaping-related apps on the App-Store. So, if you're an iPhone user, please take it up with them, and don't fight with us!)

VaporSuite is available on Google Play. The download is free, have no adds, and can be used for evaluation purposes. The only restriction of the trial is that it is limited to 50 saves - more than enough to see how good it is! You owe yourself the favor to download and try it - you have nothing to loose!

You can see more information on our website.

We are busy developing a full set of video tutorials for VaporSuite. They will be released in the VaporSuite Playlist on Youtube as they are completed. You can find available videos here. Subscribe to our channel to get informed of any new videos published.

ENJOY VAPORSUITE!!!

Why does your app need to be able to "directly call phone numbers"?
It has the ability to call a manufacturer or a shop directly if you add the phone number - saving you the hassle of finding or entering the number. It then simply opens the phone and dial the number - totally under your control. If you do not want to enable this, you can just leave the phone number fields empty.

"if you add the phone number ... saving you the hassle of finding or entering the number" :nun:

So it saves phone numbers I enter...I get it.

It does not need the ability to auto dial. (IMO)
(different than it calling/ launching a phone app and pre-populating the number)

cheers

That is actually what VaporSuite does - it launches the phone app and pass the number you entered in VaporSuite, to the phone app, that makes the call.
VaporSuite needs Android permission as indicated in your first post, to be able to do this.

Thanks to all who have downloaded VaporSuite already!
We are constantly working on updating the app to make it better, and would like to get your honest feedback.

What do you like about VaporSuite?
What don't you like about VaporSuite?
What features would you like to see added to VaporSuite?
Why did you uninstall VaporSuite (if you did)?

Our goal is to make VaporSuite the vaping app of choice, and your feedback will help us to achieve this better!

VaporSuite Coil Calculator Development

As part of our quest to be the ULTIMATE tool for vapers, we are continuously looking to improve VaporSuite, and we are re-developing the coil design module completely. We would like to get your input during the planning stage to ensure that we will end up with a tool that is THE BEST, and will appreciate your feedback on the items below.

1. Coil Types

Coil Types.PNG

Notes:
  1. All Claptons: allow for spacing of outer wrap - select 0,1,2, or 3 times diameter for outer wrap.
  2. All strands: can be round or flat.
(Q1a) Any types that is not necessary, (e.g. #10), or other types that should be added?

(Q1b) Set spacing as x times diameter (width for flat) or precise mm?

2. Wire Size Range

Sizes.PNG

(Q2) Is there any need to go bigger or smaller?

3. Wire Precision
Round: 2 decimals = 1% or better; 3 decimals = 0.1% or better
From a practical point, I believe 1% (2 decimals) is sufficient for coil calculations – other tolerances, etc. have a much bigger influence on the calculated resistance (can easily be 5% or more).
(Q3a) Is there any reason to be better than 1% (2 decimals)?

Flat (Ribbon): All ribbon wire I could find have 1 decimal precision (e.g. 0.5 X 0.1).
(Q3b) Any reason to use 2 decimals (e.g. 0.55 X 0.13)?

4. Coil Diameter (Pin Size)
Min = 1.0; Max = 5.0.
(Q4) Any reason to go smaller or bigger?

5. Number of Wraps
Min = 3; Max = 13 (13.5 for same side legs).
(Q5) Any reason to go lower or higher?

6. Ohm Target
Min = 0.10 Ohm; Max = 3.0 Ohm. Note: This is only for setting a target resistance if that option is selected. The actual calculated value will be any value based on the parameters – it is not limited at all.
(Q6) Any reason to go lower or higher?

7. Wrap Spacing
Theoretical calculations show that the spacing between wraps of a coil has a very small effect (< 1% if the spacing is 3 X wire diameter.
(Q7) Is it worth adding this?

8. TCR for mixed materials
I plan to add a calculation to give an approximate TCR value for mixed materials, so if e.g. you make a coil with one strand of 316L and another of Kanthal A1, it will give a TCR value that should be a good starting point for temp control with this coil.
(Q8) Will this be a valuable addition?

9. Multiple Coil Configurations
This will be to calculate the effective resistance (and other parameters) if multiple coils are used in the Atomizer.
Propose to select multiple parallel coils (1 to 8 Coils) for different set-ups.
(Q9a) Is there any need to include series coils or a combination of series and parallel connected coils?
(Q9b) Is there any need for more than 8 coils in parallel?

(Q10) Any other requirements or things you would like to have in a coil design calculator?
