RDA Velocity is too much ... but must use.

Hi!
Wifey loves the airflow on the Velocity, but the 1-ohm dual coil build I have is too much for her.

What builds can you recommend that are a bit milder?

She vapes on an original KBOX, which goes up to 40 watts.

Do a single coil for her. I run a single SS coil in mine 28G 7-8 wraps spaced for watts or TC. DOn't have a way of posting a pic, but there are pics if you search Velocity in the search

I only have 28ga.

For your single coil, do you run it down the center between the posts or across like normal?

I run single coil on the Velocity. if your talking about 28 ga kanthal I do 7 or 8 spaced wraps, 2.5mm id which gets me a little over 1 ohm. I've tried both running it across the center and a normal and I prefer normal. you'll probably need to crank the airflow down but I'm not a cloud chaser and prefer it that way. To me the flavor is better with a single coil as is batter life.

She's vaping a regulated mod, so you can control heat, use a centered, single coil 28g 5/6 wrap 2.5mm ID, and have her vape at 15-20 watts, with 3/4 closed air, should be plenty cool for her
