Bought myself 2 velocity mini to see what the hype was about. In the end it was just aight. Been using my thump rda which has killer vapor production (I don't really care about it though) and flavor.
Now my velo minis just sits in my little shelf

I use my velo mini (clone) as battery analysers for my dna200 and also mod resistance analyzer 
they were too cheap to pass up.
Usually use my normal velocity for flavour testing and dripping though much much better

yes it is good! but my con is that the post screw on mine isnt that long to screw tightly, but still able to use
clone?
was using the hex screws before changing to the flat heads and didn't have this issue with either
that one im not sure as i do not have the authentic ones, sorry!
there are probably quite a number of different versions of the clone.
i'm assuming the better ones would perform close to as well as the original.
would still be pretty hard to differentiate the bad ones from the original unless its side by side
Guys, sorry to bring this back, is the screws on velocity and velocity mini the same measurements? If its not the same, then what is the diameter for the velocity screws?

cant really help u with this as i only own the original but i think u can just bring the screws to a hardware shop and ask them for some help

I think it is kanthal 27 (could be 26) twisted with 2 strands of 36
Looks like 10 wraps around 2.4 and comes out at .25
I wish my camera was better.
The original has a groove to let the "cover" sit properly with the air holes facing the coils and it prevents the cover from moving. Clones does not.
i've seen one of the clones which does have it though.

I would have thought stacked coils would have overheating issues. The air slots on the Velocity couldn't adequately service both coils, and the convected heat from the bottom coil would over heat the top one no?
