i got a 4x2x1 RS box and it fits 2 18500 board and lots of spare room. i wanna be able to use 18500, 18350, 16340, 14500. cos i have some batts around and they keep looking at me asking "when is it gonna be my turn?".
... absolutely true, but the original question DID not state unprotected or had IMRs pictured. And no, unprotected batts do not cut off on their own.
Huh? What is this?... absolutely true, but the original question DID not state unprotected or had IMRs pictured.
what is the cut off current on this board?
it says the input is 3-30v. do unprotected batts shut off at a certain voltage?
This cell does NOT have an integrated PCB. Please be sure you fully understand how this product functions, how it should be charged and discharged and the proper handling of this battery type before attempting to use this battery.
Huh? What is this?
Seems unprotected was most definitely stated as was a picture of an unprotected Li-Ion batt.
Try them in the mod, checking your voltage as you go as a test.thanx, guys! so it goes ka-boon!!! no cut-off?
Now that just about covers everything, nice Mamu!
Lovely as usual Mamu, and the colors are great! No lights on this one? I've only started making 2 that weren't juicers, and neither were worth finishing.
I would buy that in a heartbeat...I am not a modder by ANY means... Nice job!!
Great minds think alike, I put together a juicer using this chip just after you posted it.
thanks for the great idea.
I was going to go scrounging in our apps lab for eval boards, but for the price you can't shake a stick at it. I picked up 3 of them(only $9each shipped), of course after I paid I then spotted these 10x 3A DC-DC step-down power MP2307 module KIS-3R33S Z - eBay (item 160485452192 end time Oct-25-10 08:16:25 PDT) and picked up 10 of them($1ea shipped) just need some input and output caps although the input cap probably won't be necessary and a pot which I have cabinets full of reels of tantalum caps and drawer after drawer of pots, so this should make for a neat mod. Mamu's is about 37x24x18 with those big electrolytic caps, the china special one is 21x21x7 and should be a lot easier to fit in. Sucks to be buying an MPS chip, DIE MPS DIE, but for $1 each, it's worth a shot. The other bonus is that I can put in any pot I want and glue it anywhere I want so I'll have easy external access to adjust. After I play with these I'll probably only be using 2 so I'll be giving the rest out to my brother modders in need
Now to find suitable batteries
