Just bought a Sigelie Kaos yesterday locally an realized it's put minor dents in my Sony VTC6s (authentic) negative ends. On one of one married pair, it has almost a pin-..... sized dent on the negative end, and the other one a bit wider and deeper. I was told this is quite normal, that certain mods battery mechanism will clamp tight to make a good connection, and I shouldn't worry too much. Another reason is different brands of 18650 vary slightly in length. The person also said there is some space in between the negative/positive contacts before the actual chemistry.
