Can I get your opinions on the VV Reo grand? Are they really that bad compared to all the reviews I've seen on youtube?

Some problems they dont like: The small button and the batteries move.

I know that there is a new button now. What about the batteries? Has this problem been solved yet?
Also what about the draw? Is it airy or tight draw?

Oh, and what do you personally prefer? A VV woodville or the VV grand? Neither are mechanical anymore.

The VV Grand is a great performance REO. You will see lots more people that have positive things to say and it is confirmed by multiple purchases.

The batteries can shift but you can fix that easily. Yes, the button has been replaced on new VV Grands.

The draw depends on the atty or cartos you are using.

I like both for different uses. Only use the VV Grand when out. Only use the VV Woodvil at home.

Well, if I were to give a review based on first hand experience as I possess 4 vv Reo's, the metal ones, I can say unequivacally that all four of them have worked perfectly from day one. None of the four have "loose" batteries. As for the button, the creator/seller of these stellar mods has replaced all of the smaller buttons with larger ones as he wasn't 100% satisfied with their performance. All vv mod owners that bough

t the vv's before the new buttons are welcome to send their mods back for a button replacement at no cost.

As "for the draw", that all depends on what attie, carto, or RBA that you use.

LOVE LOVE both of my VV's I got a VV grand and a VV woodvil!!!! My VVG has the original small recessed button and I LOVE it. Yes the batts in my VVG if bumped hard enough get a little crooked but NEVER stop firing and some peeps hve put a folded up business card or a popsicle stick in between the batts and bottle but I have found no need to do this. Both are great devices and just come down to what you prefer wood or metal but the VV Woodvils are a lot harder to come by since less than 250 were made where as the VV Grands are currently for sale on the REOSMODS.com website and as others have said the device doesn't determine how airy the draw is, its the atty/carto

I have both and they both work the same, but you can't get a VV woodvile right now. I've only ever had the batteries slip when I have the cover off adding juice to the bottle. It's not a big, dreadful thing. Just put them back in place and close the cover. I've never had them slip while the cover is on and I'm using it.

BTW. Mechanical Grands are still built and offered on the reosmods web site. :)

I've glanced over a few pages here, probably need to read more. But it's Saturday and I need to get moving ! Anyways, got my VV Grand in and fired it (Champ) up with one of the CCV 1.7 'Resurrector' Cartos I've been using on my mini. Thing is, every now and then it 'spits' small droplets of heated juice on the front of my tounge. Annoying. Is a 1.7 carto just to weak for a VV Grand ? I know alot of people are jumping on the RBA train, but I'm not interested in something that takes up my time. I just want to vape and go! Any good suggestions on what to mate with my VV Grand would be appreciated. Thanks.

Too much juice in the cartos will produce the possibility of juice spits! Squonk a little less.

You might like an atty more. Tough to say. Cartos are fine and cheap! Experiment with the voltage a little too.

Some VV Grand Porn for you my fellow REO family. Took the Mahogany door from my black wrinkle vv and had an old black A7 side drilled today and put them together to come up with this combo. Can't really capture it a photo but the mahogany and silver vein look awesome together.

I really like it! It's still too tall of course but I am amazed at the difference it made. I put a good sized o-ring in the bottom and set it up with a side coil and now it vapes great. No more gurgling at all. Silent mode except for the occasional crackle of the coil. I have been using it for an hour or so and no leaks, no gurgles. Just blowing clouds.

Others have said before and it is true, this is how the A7 should have been made. I was kind of put off by the 25 bucks the shop charged me to simply drill 2 holes, and I still think that is too much especially since they screwed one of them up (had 2 of them done) by drilling the hole too big. But it turned out to be money well spent. I feel no need to buy a hornet or era to replace it now.

Hey Rob, did you block off the holes in the threaded connector and replace them with the side hole? How about the size hole, 1/16th like with a ERA/Hornet?

Have a few A7's and 3 A7 Mini's coming so if I screw up a couple it won't be the end of the world.

Why'd you have a machine shop drill 'em, a cobalt bit goes through a ERA/Hornet with no problem and the A7 isn't nearly as thick.

Lo der Jack! I told them to go 3/64" and this one is close to that, maybe a touch more. The other one is a good 1/16" if not a hair more but surprisingly not much airier. Both are still a pretty light draw very comparable to a stock reomizer. I did not have to block off any holes in the bottom. I just added the o-ring and snugged it down firmly onto it. It seals off all air and leaking juices.

I only have one cobalt 3/64" bit left. I have drilled all my eras and my hornet but they have a starter hole already. I do not have a drill press and trying this with a hand drill and only one bit did not seem wise. I had heard from a couple others here that the A7 was significantly harder to drill than an era.

Hello, I just got my first Reo, a VV Grand from the Classifieds.

I am surprised at how small the VV Grand is. The pictures generally make all the Reos look much larger than they really are.

I got answers to most of my questions using the Search function, but I did have a few minor questions left:

1. Can the Reo Grand repair kit also be used for the VV Grand? I like to be prepared.
2. What is the Reducer Tube sold on the site?

The repair kit is for the mechanical REO's only. The Reducer Tube is slipped into the bottom of the tube that goes into the bottle to reduce the flow of juice. It is typically used for juices containing high % PG and are thin. You can order bottles, tube/caps, and spring that will work in your VV Grand. May I ask, does it have a button on the side that sticks out or is it a smaller plunger type button that is set in a concave?
