Yeah =) I got a tube cutter now researching on ways to finish the edges and colouring it
Actually u can use ya blow torch n U would b able to refine e edges.. But gotta b careful..

if the tube, is ald colored, will i damage the paint when i cut it? (i think the paint is only on the outer surface right) or when finishing the edges, will it be damaged?
and also what good paints are there for glass, ive encountered a few where it chips off easily.
also, is it better to cut it by turning the cutter all the way through like you would with a steel pipe or score it and snap it off?

1) nope unless its "stick" on like a film which i doubt so, you can actually differentiate by looking at both sides of the glass..
2) i've nv tried painting, but if you want.. perhaps arcylic?

I got no knowledge with glass haha! But I did do some pottery when I was young! And I just realised a drip tip is the easiest to make , especially with clay
Finally got mine to fire up without problem. Did a mesh in mesh setup though

During setup, my preference is to make sure the coil glows from inside out, and to prevent hot spot, pulsing and using a small needle or screwdriver to adjust the coilFinally got mine to fire up without problem. Did a mesh in mesh setup though
