Walmart 18560

The wife and I were at Wally World today and I saw these Westinghouse 18650's 4 pack for $13. I wouldn't use them but it's the first time I've seen any 18650 at Wal-Mart.

Cheap low end cells from Walmart, I highly recommend you do not vape with them, I would imagine they have a very low amp limit. If you want gourmet food, you don't go to McDonalds.

Maybe I'd use those in a flashlight held at arm's length.

But I sure wouldn't use them in a high-drain mod held within a few inches of my face.

A quick Google search says that they're 2000 mAh batteries for a solar spot light. I don't think that I'd use them in a mod, without knowing more about them (the CDR for one thing)

I saw them a while back, they are for running led path lights and charged by a small solar panel. I would't even consider using them to vape, no way, no how.

My fingers are worth more than saving money and using 18650s from walmart haha.

At the end of the day, it's your choice but I would not recommend using them.

CandlePower forums have already tested these and found them to exceed the spec, but no one knows what the CDR rating is. The 18500 1000mah actually tested out over 1000mah. Still, I'd use those in an LED flashlight, not a vaping mod.

18650 and 18500 batteries available at...Wal-Mart???

Certainly not something I'd go subohming with on a mech...

My end of the woods that money buys me just one single 18650 - but then it's real deal from a reputable shop.

Guess you get what you pay for...
