What did you want (more then anything!) for Christmas, when you were a kid?

Every Year I would browse the JC Penny's catalog "Sears catalog.... hmmm" I would circle the things I wanted... but two items I would circle every year! That one yellow model airplane. I wanted that really bad, and finally at age 12 I got it!... only to crash it into a snow bank Christmas day ...

The other item was actually a collection. Everything from the Spirit of Saint Louis themed electronics. I managed to get the phone, and the radio before they were discontinued, but that was enough for me

I was 5 when the Cabbage Patch Kids was the "it" toy, and I wanted one more than anything. Santa came through, of course, and years later found out my older sister had to scour the earth to find her. She's still the best sis ever, and would still move a mountain for me if need be.

I wanted a Chatty Cathy doll..now I am one! I also wanted a set of kids table and chairs..instead I got a baby sister!

at age seven, i, too, got a baby sister -- instead of the real, live baby monkey i so desperately wanted. but i soon realized that they are virtually the same (as my baby sister sure looked, sounded and smelled a whole lot like a baby monkey).
