What equipment do I need?

I currently build my own coils, but I wanna start building my own claptons & zipper coils. Do I need a special jig or anything else? I already have a great drill. Waiting on my package of different size (gauge) wire I ordered Thursday. I just bought a new velocity

If you already have the tools to build standard coils, you really don't need anything else for claptons and zippers - besides patience!

You're gonna need tons of patience lol. Zipper builds are easy, as its twisted wire, one strand clockwise one counterclockwise wrapped parallel to each other. Claptons are a different story, I'd start out with 24/26g cores and a 32g wrap. You may find that attaching the end of your wires to a spinning jig inside of a table or bench vice will help keep your wires straight.
