what is the best genesis out there to get back into tanks?

vaping has evolved into kayfun style tanks and drippers. I never got into genesis style attys much other than the rsst but want to go back and give them a try any ideas on what i should get?

I'd like to recommend the RSST for a starter genny. It served me very well for a long time, and it's a snap to build. Spring loaded center post capture for the positive lead, insulated wick hole, adjustable center post, and it's cheap.

Trust me on this, gennies are all use and I know whereof I speak.

Noticed you said that you'd already tried the RSST, which is usually my cheap go-to recommendation for people wanting to try a genny.

My current favorite is the DID from MMVapors. Single coil, easy to build, nice large wick hole, and is always available as an authentic directly from the company.

I have a DID from MMV also, however... the positive capture on it is thumbscrews, which I've not had the best time with. Two of my gennies have them, and they have caused me trouble on both with ohms creeping up and not just a little either.

The RSST has a spring-loaded capture that is far easier to use, and never gave me any problems, but if one was to move past the RSST, I cannot find any fault with the Kraken.

Origen V2 MKII is what I would recommend. Easy to build and great vapor/flavor.

For me: the kraken clone was my favorite genny.....just watch the insulator around the positive pin as it can handle only so much. Before I made the switch to drippers, I had thought about finding a better insulator for it and I still think that it would be completely feesable.....or maybe they still sell authentic krakens. IDK.

Yes, they do still sell authentic Krakens, I have two of them, they live on authentic Poldiacs and I love them
