If you're direct-dripping onto your atomizer, do NOT place a filled cartridge onto it. Doing so will flood your atty, thus increasing the chance of killing the atty. If you do want to use a filled cart, simply blow the atty out, then prime with 2-3 drops of niquid(e-juice) and then insert the cart.
FYI, I killed my atty when I started vaping, so make sure to keep at least 3 extra atties around, just in case.
