Which country is leading the way with Electronic cigarette testing and promotion? This subject may have been brought up before, but it would be interesting to see some research on the effects of vaping, including the second hand effects (if any). Anyone know?
Thanks in advance,
Char

That somewhat depends what you mean. The e-cigarette was originally invented and patented in China, but obviously we have improved on the design domestically. Health New Zealand has done quite a bit of research on the e-cigarettes and vapor. Visit here for a timeline and references to available research: CASAA.org

There is research being conducted in the U.S., Australia, Italy, Poland, Japan, and the UK. Probably other countries as well. These are just the published studies that I know of. There's a list on this page: Casaa.org - Harm Reduction

The list of studies starts below the answers to the FAQ.
