who actually manufactures the rn4081's?

i got to talking to a friend today and he asked me who makes them, not who sells them. Now it has become one of those things burning in the back of my head and i gotta know. I've seen them branded with every logo imaginable I'm curious who actually makes them, its not joyetech afaik, so who ?

As you can see, this forum gets next to no traffic. I doubt anyone can answer that question. There are probably several Chinese manufacturers of the 4081. njoy may have been the first to market it.

I want to say Ruyan, based on the letters in the model number.

Not sure who made the original RN4081 but it is now made by numerous Chinese manufacturers. The RN4081 refers to the size and type of threading used between battery and atty/carto.

Mine is from Aqua Vapor and has the Aqua Vapor logo on it... Assuming they make the one I have?? I'm pretty new and the RN4081 was a PIF from a friend, so I don't know a ton about it besides how to use it and where it came from...

No, Aqua Vapor doesn't make it. It's from somewhere in China. The poster who said Ruyan may be right. The Njoy RN4081 I have is stamped Njoy, but they didn't make it. It didn't take me long to move on up, after I found out there were better PVs around.

That's the whole problem with the China made PV's. One company will make it and then sell it under 100+ different names.
