I am curious how many folks are wishing Provape would offer the Classic ProVari if it was offered with the new flat top assembly. I purchased a Titanium mini and love this new feature. I would certainly purchase another mini ProVari if they were offered with the new threads, and manufacturers are already working on tanks for the P3.
Would you buy a "ProVari Classic" just because it was offered with the new top cap assembly? I just wanted to see what interest there may be in such a query, so thanks for reading, and or, replying.

ME!

Near the top of my wish list (OK, I think it's #4 on my wish list) is a Satin P2.5B (2.5 with flattop).
Kinda like the Ti, but less $.

I am not sure, it means I would have to start my collection all over again, I would have to have all the versions, old style top cap and the new style top cap. I like my tapered top caps, but buying the 8 that I have now, all over again would take me a year to get them all. :) If the ones with the new top cap, were some how different, like a purple or blue zenkote, that would be okay with me.

I myself have been spoiled by the flattop cap.

I'll (more than likely) not buy a New Tapered Cap Provi.

A used collectors item, perhaps, But my New Money'll be spent on New Flattops.

EXACTLY! No more worries about the gap, OP due to varying lengths of 510 threads, adaptor rings, or future adaptability. In my mind, the addition of this feature will insure the viability of the Classic ProVari alongside the new kid on the block. Especially if some atties come into the market with the P3 threading.

That is the one feature of the P3 that really exited me, the rest...meh.I don't need the power the way I vape and the look takes getting used to.So I opted for the Ti mini, best of both worlds.
I got the ProVari I want with the top cap I wanted that weighs practically nothing, the only hair in my soup is that I would like to have a second one but this close to the holiday's that is just not going to happen.
Now if ProVape in there infinite wisdom decides to issue some of the classics with the new top cap (like the new pearl white one or the satin silver, I'd be on it faster than Millers cat. :D

I dunno.

I really like the deep drip well on the 2.5. Maintenance is a little simpler.

On the other hand, I have Three of the 2.5s at this point... soooo.. I figure ProVape will do what they feel they need to for the products viability.

That's a great point. I do like the fixed pin and deep drip well. I was thinking that it could be offered on some units, or as un upgrade option at time of purchase, if it is feasible. I would pay an upgrade charge for this if it were an option.

The Classic Provari Drip Well is a Relic...

It does nothing but show you how much juice you have wasted.

The Flattop Catch Cup (as I call it) does catch your over drippings and also feeds them back into your dripping atty.

Wasted, but caught juice

Caught and still vapeable juice

Edit: This test and pix were done using ProVapes Ego Kit. (The tapered cones from the kit)

I really hope and wish they will at least do some limited runs, or offer it as an upgrade. I also wish I could grab another Ti, but like you, with the holidays and a trip in the near future, it is out of the question at this time.

If you put a souped up engine in a Model T Ford is the Model T still classified as a classic?
If you substitute LEDs in a PBR neon sign, is the sign still a classic?
If you make a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with "squeeze cheese" from a can is it still a classic?
If you put a P3 top cap on a PV2.5 is the PV still a classic?

better analogy would be if you put better brakes and tires on a Model T, the "engine" in this case would be the same.

Yes, as classic as crop circles and tear drops, change the connector, leave the guts and functionality the same, it's still a ProVari.

Yes, and not just a Classic...

But a Classy Classic that has found a new life!

I want a blue one, but not with the cone of shame.
