So... I'd gotten away from tobaccos for the most part, mainly vaping fruits, with the exception of some Boba's that I often dripped American Cigarette on top of. I use small chambered RDAs on top of bottom-feeding mods, which makes it easy to drip one flavor into another that's being fed from the bottom. Here with your new Turkish, I'm dripping the 24mg on top of unflavored, 0-nic in the bottle of the mod. The atty is a Cyclone, air hole reamed a bit, but still pretty tight on the draw, 0.9 ohm coil, rayon wick. Power is from a DNA30, currently 16.5 watts.

My initial reaction is: I find the flavor mild, not harsh at all, but quite satisfying. I like it enough that if you had it on the site, I'd order a couple of bottles today.

I'm going to bounce back and forth between this, some unflavored nic, and some American cigarette (all at 24-25mg). I'm not sure how fair the comparison to the American Cigarette will be because my stock of it is over a year old...

Awesome. Thanks!
I like it rather more than I expected, myself.

Finally got to try it.
It's lighter than I expected - I guess I was thinking unfiltered camel - mild but good flavor. It has a mossy(?) undertone that I really like - Reminds me of a good single malt scotch. It's almost a little tart on the inhale - maybe a drop of sweetener would even that out (but I kinda like it) I bet it's a great base for a bit of vanilla.

Hi jfresh,

I've been reading through this thread a lot today and from reading your posts you're very awesome. From giving coupon codes to replacing orders on trust. Also, you (being a co-owner) talk with customers personally, you don't see businesses run like that anymore.

Unless I'm wrong, you can't find a WTA liquid with 100% VG (I love VG). I'm going to be ordering some in 2wks (when I get paid). I just have a couple a few questions about it. I can vape 12mg all day and not feel a thing, but if you chain vape too much will you feel sick? I ask that because I straight vaped Aroma's WTA for four days and got flu like symptoms. Don't know if it was the PG because I'm PG sensitive (Im okay with PG on a cigalike). Can you describe the flavor of American Cigarette (does it have any sweet over/undertones or smokey flavor)? And one last question, how long does it take for you to ship after the order is placed, and you still use Priority Mail I see on the website? Thank you jfresh for your help and I can't wait to order.

Thanks for the kind words. :)
All our liquids are VG only. I can't speak to your flu like symptoms specifically but I would guess it more likely due to PG sen. than anything WTA related.
For a description of the flavor of 'A.C." I think the reviews on the site are a better source than I. I rarely vape it, preferring the unflavored personally...though I did really like the "Turkish Blend" and it should be available in a few days on the site...neither is 'sweet' ...both have earthy, smoky elements...the A.C. is more one note...but some people love it.
Our official shipping policy is 7-12 days...but generally orders ship about 3-5 days. We do still ship priority.
Thanks!

So...I feel inspired to pre-announce a major decision...here, before generally letting the world know. It may seem like bad news, but I assure you, it's not!

I've decided to close up shop. Soon. I'll give everyone a chance to stock up first. And I'll probably keep selling the cases and bulk 36mg, at least for a while after I quit retailing. That takes much less of my time and focus.

The fact is, I'm no longer excited and enthused about doing this with my time. It''s getting hard to be truly, fully engaged. I'm actually excited to move on. I'm open to selling the business, if that presents itself as a possibility, but really it's all about following my passion, which is, among other things, poker. I'm quite good at it, and never really had the opportunity before to fully explore the possibilities. I played online for several years (for a living) and then the government shut that down (boo!) but now I live in a casino town, and holding myself back is kinda frustrating. And I've realized I can't do both, at least not to the best of my ability. I don't want to give short shrift to either.

I'm proud of what my partners and I have done here, and I don't consider it a failure, or anything like that, it's just life is short, and my bucket list a little too long, you know?

I doubt I'll be selling individual bottles by the end of the year. I'm thinking perhaps another 6 weeks, but I haven't really chosen a date yet.

Let me also say I appreciate all of you, your support, your advice, and your appreciation of what we've accomplished.

:)

I cannot click like on the above post because I'm sad that we'll lose you as a vendor. I believe my transition from smoking to vaping would have been considerably harder without your WTA juices. Now almost two years later, I no longer think they're necessary to me personally, but I still enjoy a few pulls a day. On several occasions when I've gone a week or more without (due to being on the road and having only taken conventional juice with me), I start to feel like something is missing.

I guess I should start paying more attention to just how much WTA I actually consume so I know how much (more) to stock when you announce, "last call".

I wish you good luck in whatever endeavors you pursue.

Thank you very much! (If the right person or persons is interested I am willing to sell the business, train them in the process we use...you never know...there could be continuity for customers...it's just not something I've looked into at this point...i wouldn't know where to start...this was a fairly sudden decision.) means a lot that you and so many others have always made us feel appreciated. i'd like to see the company continue on...we shall see. :)

It was nice having 2 choices of WTA. The products are very different IMO. I'm not liking it either, although I can understand your frustration. Getting a business off the ground is challenging and tedious. There has to be some reward even if it's only not working for some overlord boss.

The poker is interesting. I lived in Reno for awhile and had several friends that would go "make rent" by playing poker. They had to keep visits random so they wouldn't get known. I guess casino's would ban them once they realized a pattern of winnings. The casino security shared the lists with other casino's. I don't know if every town works that way and it was many years ago now so things may have changed. personally, I liked craps since I figured that was harder to rig for the house to win. Not all casino's offer craps around here.

I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose.

I think the only pros casinos are concerned about are blackjack card counters...I have a good friend down here who's a poker pro, and she's well known and liked by the dealers...and feared by other pros! Poker is a raked game, not a house game...so they get their cut regardless of who's winning,

On the other topic, I'm starting to look into the possibility of finding a kind of agent to shop the business for me. It's profitable as is, and could be much, much moreso (I dislike marketing in general, just not my thing...and have been vaguely concerned for awhile about possibly growing too fast to keep up with it also...never really wanted the hassle and complications of having employees...so haven't scratched the surface of the company's potential...that's easy to illustrate to a potential buyer...our advertising outlay amounts to one relatively small ad buy here on the forum...more or less a gesture of thanks to ecf (thanks ecf!)) for a word-of-mouth business with practically 100% organic growth, a single forum presence in all of the internet and other media, I'd call it a success story. :)

(my burn-out is a separate issue...i am just ready to do something else...something I'm really excited about. I really do believe I have the fundamental skills and drive to always improve my game...to become a great poker player. And have a lot of fun during the process. I love the game and the personal challenge it offers. I recently turned 50, so it's kind of now or never.)

I'll keep everyone posted as the situation develops!

I should add that the potential of WTA (across the board) is so enormous that realizing I'm constitutionally unlikely to develop that potential with my current level of real interest and passion makes me happy to possibly find a buyer who would. I'd like to see WTA succeed regardless of my involvement. It was always a labor of love and something I believe in still.

Thanks so much, Jeffrey, for shipping my last order. I'm glad I got to taste American Cigarette. I shared it with a cigar-smoking friend today. I'd taken him to a local shop where we'd tried the latest fruit-loops, popcorn flavors. Today, he just got a confused look on his face and said, "it tastes like a cigar, that's dangerous."

I haven't found anyone else who's combined tobacco extract and WTA. It seems like a no-brainer, and it clearly worked for WholeCig. Am I missing something? Will I have to make my own?

I'm going to have to read this leaked final rule tomorrow for work. I'd be grateful to anyone who'd care to summarize. (Famous last words.)
