Hi Chels, glad you got the help you got.

I had to go and replace my laptops monitor. Talk about learning new things everyday.

You have gotten great help from some very helpful people.

Let us know how it goes.

New things always make me a bit nervous, ( Im neurotic in my later age ) I watch a LOT of vids and ask A LOT of questions. Each new thing teaches me something new and at my age I NEED to keep this up.

Hi ChelsB

Since I got the kayfun 5 a couple months ago (give or take) it is my go to tank. Was my second RTA and the easiest to build.

I use more cotton when wicking than what I looked in your photo but maybe is because I vape a thinner e liquid

You should look for the Authentic kayfun 5 thread because it is full of good advices. Bronze and Qorax recommended a coil made of 28g kanthal, 2.5mm and 7-8 wraps to get around 1.5 to 1.7 ohms for max flavor

That's what I been using and works like a charm

Also if you get leaking, some said to use more cotton. I understand that de K5 is very forgiving

Cheers

Fiber Freaks Pre-Cut never disappoints. Touching the deck, maybe almost. Torched the wire before making the coil. Easier to work with. Used the Coil Master v3. Kanthal 28awg, 2.5mm, 1.66 Ohm. 8 wraps. 7 full + 2x1/2. Works great at 10 watts.

Add: Had to cut the wick more as it was blocking the channels. Not touching now, and it's 100% working.
