will mixing unflavored 36mg with menthol 36mg lighten the menthol taste ?

i know in terms of logical analysis anything that is diluted is therefore cut in half in terms of power. but if i'm mixing 50/50 unflavored and menthol, wouldnt i theoretically be getting the same flavor/taste of menthol, but would be getting more out of it because i'm adding 50% unflavored? Or would adding 50% unflavored actually dilute the menthol and make it less severe? I kinda think that still using 50/50, just means the menthol isnt actually cut in two parts, but 1 part of unflavored is added which just makes the menthol drops less, but i dont think it will take the harshness away? or will it ?

any ideas? why am i asking this dumb question, but i guess someone has to ask it

Correct. As described, you would half the menthol flavor and maintain the 36mg nic level.
